“The Omaha Project” is the second in a series of urban image-archiving projects. These projects are visual case studies of different urban settings. This project aims to map the city of Omaha through visual re-occurrence. Repeated physical manifestations are photographically indexed and categorically archived as a way to signify issues of cultural desire in a particular place. Available parking space, name signs, continuous views the Woodmen building, pick up trucks, domestic wood frame architecture, etc. are all examples of psychical repetition that index a moment in a city's evolution.
