Untitled (Location: LIU Brooklyn courtyard)
2001, 4 panels, each panel approximately 9ftx19ft digital photo print on vinyl, stretched over wood frames

This piece was installed in the courtyard of Long Island University's Brooklyn campus. It consists of one image broken into four panels placed over insets on the building. The campus and surrounding area is a densely developed urban space. The image depicts a playing field which is hidden behind the facing dormitory building, virtually the only "undeveloped" piece of land in the area. The piece is meant to counter the surrounding architecture's vertical dominance with a window onto a hidden horizontal landscape.
